A brave captain and his faithful mate transport a captive warrior, and the valuable Inventory of The Mind, across the interstellar line. When their ship is forced to navigate an asteroid field, their mission is jeopardized.

SYNOPSIS

On a mission to deliver the valuable Inventory of the Mind, along with an injured Saarvinian architect named SAUT to The GUARDIANS on planet GINES, MENO and LEM find themselves caught in an asteroid storm. While attempting to navigate their ship the IMPRESSION through the barrage of space rocks, they clip the side of a large asteroid, setting them adrift. 

MENO and LEM descend into the belly of the ship to assess the damage and make the necessary repairs. They encounter a blocked passageway and LEM expresses his fear of the SPIDER. MENO comforts LEM with words of reassurance and together they are able to pry open the door. They come across another damaged door, this one is to SAUT’s empty cell and they realize he has escaped.

Entering the engine room, MENO and LEM find SAUT attempting to reprogram the MONAD engine. MENO confronts SAUT and they slug it out on the walkway.

SAUT asks MENO if he would join him in his search for the ETERNAL FORM but MENO has other plans. For a moment it seems as if MENO is getting the best of the injured SAUT when LEM demands that they stop fighting. SAUT uses the distraction to knock MENO back and escapes up a ladder, pulling an energy cable with him. What MENO and LEM don’t know is that SAUT has already stolen the mystical Inventory of the Mind and has an organ port inside his wound. When Saut connects the to the Monad engine, a huge blast jettisons them into the inter-dimensional space between universes.

In search of the Sphere of the White Spider, SAUT enters the main bridge and attempts to cross over to the ETERNAL. By the time MENO and LEM recover from the blast and reach the bridge, SAUT is already gone. Unmoored from the universe itself, MENO and LEM set out to find SAUT and return the Inventory of the Mind to the Guardians.

Meno

The weathered pilot of the spaceship IMPRESSION, Meno is fearless but battle weary. He’s determined to carry out his mission of delivering the Warrior to The Guardians, no matter what.

Lem

Always willing to go out of his way to help, Lem is the ever loyal and trust worthy ship mate. Navigating the ship is his favorite thing to do, but his fear of the SPIDER is holding him back.

Saut

Distraught about his capture, the Saarvinian architect Saut, knows he needs to jack into the Monad engine with his newly implanted organ port, steal the Inventory of the Mind and escape to the Sphere of the White Spider. But he can’t do anything stuck in his cell.
